Type:

Parallel groove clamp are non-bearing type, mainly bolt type parallel groove clamp, H type (or C type) parallel groove clamp and wedge type parallel groove clamp. Among them, bolt type parallel groove clamp is divided into equal diameter parallel groove clamp and reduced diameter parallel groove clamp.

Performance requirements:

According to the provisions of the national standard GB2314 "General Technical Conditions for power fixtures" and the power line standard DL/T 765.1 "Technical conditions for aerial distribution line fixtures", the grip force of the non-bearing type parallel groove clamp on the wire shall not be less than 10% of the calculated breaking force of the wire, and the conductive capacity shall not be lower than the resistance of the contacted wire.

And the groove clamp also needs to meet the requirements of stability and reliability, the resistance change index after the flow has clear requirements, to ensure that in normal operation or overload or even short circuit, and the groove clamp does not fail before the wire, to ensure the safety and reliability of the line.

Structural features:

Taking JBJ series special shaped parallel groove clamp as an example, it is composed of two J elements with wedge, bolts, nuts and spring pads, which have the characteristics of stable contact pressure, contact performance is not affected by decreasing fastening force, stable current path is formed, and rated current carrying capacity of the clamp is increased. The standard parts are treated with hot-dip galvanizing to ensure excellent anti-corrosion properties.

Application and installation:

Parallel groove clamp is widely used in the non-bearing connection and branch of the wire in the overhead line, and it is used with the insulation cover to protect the insulation. During installation, conductive grease containing copper and silver ions should be applied on the surface of the conductor to prevent reoxidation of the oxide break point, and ₃ takes advantage of the conductive ability of the active Al₂O₃ to improve its conductive ability.
