Preparation before installation:

Prepare required tools and materials, including the suspension clip body, bolts, nuts, and washers, and small tools such as pliers and wrenches.

Determine the installation location:

According to the needs of the power line, determine the position of the overhang clamp to be installed on the steel pipe or wire. The installation position should be above 1200mm from the ground.

Mounting bolts:

Drill a hole in the wire or steel pipe, insert the bolt into the hole, and secure the nut and washer at the other end.

Fixed suspension clamp:

Place the overhang clamp slowly onto the bolt and secure it using pliers.

Check for fixing:

Make sure that the overhang clamp is firmly fixed, not loose, and there is no inclination.

In actual operation, attention should be paid to the balance and fastness of the overall installation, and check whether the surface of the suspension clip is damaged, cracked, etc., to ensure that its quality passes.

For the pre-stranded overhang clamp, such as ADSS cable, OPGW cable, etc., the combination of the inner and outer layer spiral prestranded wire can protect the cable well, avoid bending stress, and play a role in protecting and assisting vibration reduction of the cable. When installing, the internal and external strands need to be tightly wound on the cable in accordance with a specific winding method to ensure that the gap of the strands is uniform and avoid deformation caused by excessive force.

Type selection:

There are three main types of pendant clamp: straight pendant clamp, curved pendant clamp and reversed pendant clamp. The linear suspension clamp is suitable for power lines with short spacing, simple structure and convenient installation; The curved overhanging clamp is suitable for power lines with long spacing and has high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. The reversing pendant clamp is used to change the direction of the wire in power lines, which is difficult to install and maintain.
